Since the tragedy,I look at life through a different perspective. There is nothing that I could do except to accept what had happened and continue to trust God. The tragedy brought me closer to God instead of being bitter with life.To lose four love ones (my mother – died of cancer and my three sons in the fire) in a day is beyond comprehension but still there is nothing any human as fragile and weak as we are to do anything about it.

Of course at that moment I was indeed sad and I did question God why such a thing should happen to us. However, somehow deep in my heart there was incredible peace and comfort that no one could understand. It was as if a gentle voice was reminding me that the children are in safe hands and are well-taken care of and I need not have to worry. This was comfirmed to me by a vision shown to my eldest son (who was eleven years old then) just a night after the tragedy. That is the three boys and their grandmother are in a very beautiful, and illuminating golden place. They look very handsome and happy and their faces very bright.I am very sure they are safe and they are in heaven.

Our God is an awesome God and whatever happens to us He does not allow it to be too difficult for us. For “all things work out good for those who love Him…”
Despite what happened to our family, since then we can safely say that we are victorious over the evil one and we will never allow the evil one to defeat us.1 Cor.15:52 says “But thanks be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” And in Rev.12:11, “we overcome the enemy (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony”

Remember God does not promise us a bed of roses after we accepted Him as Lord and Saviour. He does not promise us blue sky and everything nice. But one thing for sure He promises us His steadfast love and that He will sustain us in all circumstances.

For those who go through pain and agony, continue to put your trust in the Lord. Remember you are not alone because there are people out there who went through even more painful times and remain victorious. May the Lord of comfort who had comforted us be a comforter to you as well.

A rose once grew where all could see,
Sheltered beside a garden wall,
And, as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall,

One day, a beam of light shone through,
A crevice that had opened wide,
The rose bent gently toward its warmth,
Then passed beyond to the other side,

Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
Be comforted- the rose blooms there,
Its beauty even greater now,
Nurtured by God’s own loving care.

As believers we should be different from non-believers in the sense that when we are bogged down with pains, weaknesses, trials and problems, we should be able to stand up tall. Selwyn Hughes in his book Everday With Jesus wrote “The human spirit can rise to great heights when faced with trauma and trouble and there are multitudes of people who, though not committed christians, draw on their inner strength to survive and recover from the most horrifying of experiences.” The amazing thing about our christian life is that we are able to draw on the redemptive energies of Jesus Christ even though we are physically weak. Thus, every weakness can eventually be turned to strength. Whatever happens to a believer, our awesome God ia able to transform everything to something good if only we will allow ourselves to be touched by His power.
we cannot deny that as believers there are many times in our lives that we feel so stressful due to heavy workload, family, maritial, financial problems and others. Sometimes life breaks us so much that we feel so heavy burdened and weak in our spiritual life. What becomes a difference for a believer is that in those times we can be redeemed when we begin to turn our eyes and forcussed our lives in our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that He will give us the strength in our brokeness. (Psalm 28 1-9) He will mend our brokeness and make it so strong that it will not break at the same spot. Our God is a God that is the same yesterday, today and forever. If at one time He could raise the dead, heal the sick and captivate the minds of men and women with the words He spoke, we are thus very sure that in Christ we can overcome things that thwart us. With God’s help if we cannot solve our problems, at least we can find unspoken comfort in an awesome God. We can draw that amazing strength from an unseen source and that is the boundless love from our father above. Under all adversity and circumstances, let us get tougher day by day in Christ our Lord.Let Jesus be our steady stronghold in a world full of flux and change, fasten on to HIM and not to the things of the world.

May “Jesus be the ARM that will hold you when you
the EYE that will watch you wherever you
and the HEART that will love you all you life.

Giving support to my husband ministries is what  took a lot of my time. When my husband minister in different places, i will always be there with the powerpoint, the cooking, the serving and other paper work. My husband is passionate about his work for God. My husband is not a pastor, but he is invited to preaches in many places, and he is often called to lead worship in all kinds of meeting including wake services. And i learned and benefited a lot.

In all his ministries, i was by his side. So I encourage, all ladies to help their husbands.
