YOUTH FOR CHRIST RALLY
Youth for Christ Rally 2 for 2010 will be held in Lawas this year. It will be held at a church along Lawas Damit Road. The date is yet to be finalised. PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE EVENT!

Programmes for the event:
Friday night- Praise and worship
Saturday morning- Word of God/ Testimonies from His Sparrows
Saturday afternoon: workshop/ testimonies( From Eddy Leong and students)
Saturday night- Worship celebration
Sunday Morning- worship service/Word of God
MEALS WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE EVENT
BEHIND THIS EVENT
After the tragedy, God had a special ministry for me. In 1999, I had organized a worship celebration in Medamit, and there was a wonderful move of God there. Then I organized one in Lawas, and again, the Holy Spirit moved and it was one of the most memorable night that we had. Imagine, hundreds of youth rushed into the church to join the worship! When I made an invitation to be prayed for, everyone rushed to the front, broken! During one of the holidays, we went back to my home village in Long Semadoh. After the morning service, I told the church elder that I would like to lead the people for a praise and worship celebration that night. That night God moved among the congregation, from small children to the grand parents, there were much rejoicing!God refreshed our commitment to Him.
God endowed us gifts to be used to bring glory to Him. At the same time, we must use it to lead others to Christ.
Remember, in my testimony, God told my church pastor that God will give me spiritual children. Thats what I had experienced during my testimony.
The Youth for Christ ministry had long been waited by some people, and I know, this time, God is going to move the young people greatly. I had felt like this before and I know, God is behind this.
If you are a young person who want to have an encounter with the Living God, do come for the event. You will surely be blessed.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
There will be plenty of singing for sure. It is a move to let the young people praise God as long as possible. In our church nowadays, we will only be able to offer praise to our God for half an hour at the most, or some three or four songs of praise. To me, this is not enough. The Bible states the importance of offering song of praise to our God. To offer praise means to glorify and honour God. Psalms 50:23 is very clear about this, "Whosoever offer praise honour Me," or glorify God.." So this Rally will a lot of singing. The Israelites praises their God exceedingly, particularly King David. The Bible mentions that there are blessings as a result of praise..God inhabits the praise of His people. Some people only praise God on sunday, on other days they listen and sing world songs.
Of course you will expect joy this Rally because I had always believe that joy in worship is what characterized total worship. Isaiah Chapter 12 says, "With joy you can draw water from the well of salvation." Giving praises to God is full of joy..a release of the joy of the Holy Spirit. The joy of the Lord is my strength.
Lots of hearts will be broken because Psalms 50:23 says that "whoso offereth praise glorify me.." he opens the way for God to show him the way of salvation.Many young hearts will open their hearts to God.
Blessings will come to SIB Batu Empat. Imagine the loud singing of praise and worship being offered there. The devil and his gangs will flee from there. Strongholds will be demolished by the singing.
I invite you to pray for this special event. We want to bring the young people to the knowledge of the New life in Christ. They must know this life. They must not be confused with the life of the world and the new life. They must see the difference.
How many people want the young people to be a strong and committed Christians? How many people are willing to sacrifice something for the young people. Not many isn't it. But I want you to help by praying for me and my friends who will take part to organize this event.
SACRIFICE OF PRAISE
This Rally main agenda in a sacrifice of praise. There will be a praise-thon, continuous singing of praise and worship songs. How many songs of praise do we sing every sunday? Sometimes, three or four isn't it. But during that Rally, there will be more songs to be sung to bring honour to God.
Praising God is special to God. Why? Remember David? His wife was angry in her heart when she saw David dancing for the Lord. God punished her making her baren. When the pharisees told Jesus about the noise Jesus's desciples praising God, Jesus said that if they don't, the stones will praise God!
When people praise God..be careful not to stop or obstruct because God wants His people to honour Him.
IS THERE ANY BODY COMING FOR THIS EVENT?
We only organize, God draws people to the event and to Himself. My prayer is that lives will be rededicated,transformed or changed by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is behind all these. Therefore, I have faith that everything will be taken care of by God.
God had indicated how He will help. When I asked a graphic designer to make 2 pieces of banners, she immediately said she will sponsor for the banner! And what a beautiful banner she made. And i need not pay anything for the banner. Praise God!
GIVE GLORY AND HONOUR TO GOD THROUGH SONGS
WHY FOCUS ON THE YOUNG PEOPLE?"
Most of our generation have already known God and many had dedicated their lives to God. They had already heard the Gospel. Many are reaping blessings from God because of their life in Christ.
The young people must be brought to Christ too. God wants the children to be taught and to be told about God too. They had to be guided while they are young so that the mistake that we had done will not be repeated by them.
These young people must fear God so that when they have a family of their own, they will know what to do for their children. "Blessed are the children whose parents fear God" says proverb.
THE ACTIVITIES/PROGRAMMES
During the Rally, a number of things happened. The cooking were done by the people of SIB Batu Empat. The rice were contributed by the people from the highlands- there was more than enough. There were lots of praise and worship, there were dances, and a drama. There were talks or testimonies from His Sparrows.
Many young people came forward to be prayed for. More than RM4000.00 were collected as offering!
God presences enabled us to worship Him in a dynamic way, especially if you are dealing with young people.
The people wants it to be held in their church next year.
Pray that the young people who had attended will be on fire for God."
