GRACE ![]() SOME USEFUL QUOTES "Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound."(Rom. 5:20) "God resist the proud but giveth grace to the humble."( James 4:6) "As the diamond to the ring, so is grace to the soul. A heart beautiful with grace hath the King of heaven's picture in it." (Watson) "All that abound in grace, have known that grace have found them." (J.H. Evans AMAZING GRACE HOW SWEET THE SOUND THAT SAVE A WRETCH LIKE ME I ONCE WAS LOST BUT NOW AM FOUND WAS BLIND BUT NOW I SEE Grace is a charming sound; harmonious to the ear Grace first contrived the way, to save rebelliuos man Grace led roving feet, to tread the heavenly road Grace all the work shall crown, through everlasting days Grace can always be found when sought, and not shut out the soul from thee. Lord you are so gracious to me. The Christian's life is to mature or increase in grace. Everyone knows what is grace. Just like football, everyone know what's football. Knowing what's football does not mean that we can play. The same to grace. Knowing what is grace doesn't mean that we practice it or live by it. So how must we acquire it? It does not come automatically, especially if it concern something new to us. One well known person says that in order to be good at something, practice or constant practice will make a person good at something. Just like a football, who will only be better if he constantly play with the ball. To love others, we have to learn the art and practice it to make it a new habit. To be generous, we have to beat the selfishness that is naturally embedded in our character. It is difficult at first, but eventually- we can make it. Let us therefore practice what we have been taught and surely we can become a better Christian. ![]() |
