REVIVAL ![]() If you are a church member, you are already used to hear sermons on revival. You have gone through all kinds of programs on revival and trying to start a revival in your church! At the end of the program, people becomes more and more tired..and nothing happens as expected! Some get in some special speakers from other places to preach following a time table etc.. but at the end of the program, nothing happens. Still no excitement of going to church. WHY O WHY? Because we depends on human efforts and ability. We thought that an anointed pastor etc will start one for us, but at the end of it all...still back to square one. We are not giving up..we still look for someone..that special person.. Revival does not start from someone else. Revival begins from the Spirit of God! Revival begins from our own hearts. That is where revival starts..from deep within us..that is where the Spirit of God will trigger a move..right in our hearts brother! HOW OH HOW? What is first..chicken or the eggs? That is how we view this whole thing. The world look at it like that and try to read it that way. That is why books of all kinds are written..but when we practice it...still nothing comes Probably we "do not know what revival means." Revival BEGINS very personal... the heart yearn and long for God... breaks..and surrender /acknowledge / and is forgiven, cleansed and transformed..that touch of God with in us... And if many people experience that..the individual revival becomes wide. Individual person is important. One makes a different. The one different is contagious..because an overflow will touch more. A lot begins with the opening and surrendering of the heart! TRY PRAISING GOD AND WORSHIPPING HIM for a peroid of time...with gladness/joy/..your prayer will be wonderful...and i believe, an opening will enable the Spirit to enter and revive the heart. BROTHER, THE SPIRIT IS RIGHT AT THE DOOR OF OUR HEART, OR HE IS RIGHT IN OUR HEARTS IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER. "With joy, we can draw water from the wells of salvation." Isaiah 12:3 Many of us always looked at what others did and seek God to changed them, but not us! Thats' a wrong attitude indeed. A revival begins in our heart, a humble heart which cries to God. Ask ourselves...is what we have been doing different than what we had done before? Do something like before and we will get something like before! Is our prayer meeting today as long as the one before? Is our singing more or less than before? If our current way of prayer did not get the responds that we expect..try different ways or do more We can only expect to get something extra if we do something extra! EXTRAORDINARY? DO THE EXTRAORDINARY! ![]() |
